Anche quest’anno abbiamo partecipato alla Google For Entrepreneurs Week, per cui sabato 28 ottobre abbiamo organizzato un pomeriggio di laboratori per 25 bambine/i e ragazze/i, che sono venuti anche da altre città.
Eravamo al CAOS, nella Sala dell’Orologio e, con l’occasione, si poteva anche visitare la bellissima mostra “Arnaldo Pomodoro. Spazi scenici e altre architetture“.
Google ci ha inviato un fantastico kit per circuiti morbidi, cupbot, MaKey MaKey e magliette per i partecipanti.
Inoltre da Roma sono venuti gli amici di DiScienza, con i loro Mind Your Bot.
La maggior parte dei genitori si è trattenuto con i propri figli ed ha potuto provare le varie attività; queste erano libere e si potevano sperimentare a piacimento, aiutati eventualmente dai mentor dell’hacklab. Inoltre per i MaKey MaKey erano stati organizzati dei progetti da realizzare in gruppo: la batteria di frutta e verdura (un classico), il gioco del piccolo chirurgo e la mega-console, sempre per suonare la musica.
C’erano anche a disposizione i littleBits, molti Lego ed il nostro filo a caldo per tagliare il polistirolo, che piace sempre moltissimo.
This year there was our second participation in Google For Entrepreneurs Week: on Saturday 18th October we organized an afternoon of workshops for 25 children and young people, some of whom came from other cities, too.
The event was held at Chaos Museum and it was also possible to visit the beautiful exhibition about Arnaldo Pomodoro’s work.
Google sent us a fantastic kit for soft circuits and cupbots, some Makey Makey‘s and T-shirts for participants.
From Rome came our DiScienza friends, with their Mind Your Bot.
Most of the parents stayed with their children, and could try various activities; these were all freely accessible and the participants could experiment at will, possibly aided by hacklab mentors. In addition, for the Makey Makey’s, we had organized some projects for little teams: a battery made up of fruits and vegetables (a classic), a scratch surgery game, and a mega-console to play music.
There were also littleBits, many Lego bricks and our hot wire to cut the foam, which everyone always enjoys a lot.
