Il Linux Day di quest’anno, il 24 Ottobre, ci ha visti in azione in due diverse città: Orvieto e Terni.
L’evento di Orvieto è stato ospitato dall’Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Scientifico e Tecnico, dove abbiamo tenuto una presentazione per spiegare cosa sia il CoderDojo, seguita da una sessione con una classe di terza media.
A questo incontro dovrebbero seguirne altri curati dal LUG locale.
This year’s Linux Day was celebrated on October 24th and saw us in action in two different cities: Orvieto and Terni.
Orvieto’s event was held in the local Scientific and Technical Institute of Higher Education where we made a speech to explain what the CoderDojo is, followed by a session with a class of eighth grade.
This meeting should be followed by other meetings, organised by Orvieto LUG.
A Terni, nella Biblioteca pubblica, abbiamo presentato un progetto chiamato “Arduino in moto – navigatore rugged per rally motociclistici”.
Si tratta di un navigatore, chiamato TripMeter, da inserire nel porta roadbook, che utilizza Arduino per raccogliere le informazioni necessarie durante il rally.
L’evento, come ogni anno, è stato organizzato dal Terni GNU/LUG.
In Terni, at the Public Library, we presented the project “Arduino in motion – rugged navigator for motorcycle rallies.”
It is a navigator, called TripMeter, to be included in the roadbook, using Arduino to gather the necessary information during the competition.
The event, as in previous years, was held by Terni GNU/LUG.
