Dopo una breve presentazione ed introduzione ai componenti littleBits, i ragazzi hanno cominciato a lavorare con grande entusiasmo, sul tema “Anima la tua città!”.
Avevano a disposizione moltissimo materiale tra cui, molto apprezzato, un filo a caldo per tagliare il polistirolo, anche detto “la laser cutter dei poveri”, che si può costruire seguendo questo tutorial.
littleBits Global Makeathon: all about the event
After a brief presentation and introduction to the littleBits, girls and boys began to work with great enthusiasm on the theme “Bring your city to life!”.
They had a lot of material available including a very much appreciated hot wire to cut the foam, also known as “the laser cutter of the poor”, which you can build following this tutorial.
Per l’occasione, ci sono venuti a trovare alcuni amici:
Laura Belli, la designer famosa per avere realizzato il nostro apprezzatissimo logo, FabLab Roma ed Etsy Italia Team che hanno aiutato i ragazzi a sviluppare i loro progetti, come anche DiScienza che ha portato la sua ultima creazione: un robot che si può muovere con la forza del pensiero!!
Some friends were with us during the event:
Laura Belli, the designer famous for having created our appreciated logo, FabLab Roma and Etsy Italia Team helped the boys and the girls during their work at the projects, and, last but not least, DiScienza who brought his latest creation: a robot that can move by the power of thought!

al secondo posto Chiara e Alice, con “L’alchimista d’acciaio che chiama un taxi urlando ‘Hija de Dio’ con stile”
second prize winners Chiara and Alice, with “The steel alchemist who calls a taxi screaming “Hija de Dio” with style”
al terzo posto Sara, con il suo “Mulino incantato”
third prize winner Sara, with her “Enchanted windmill”
